Filtered from Ash
Dec. 16th, 2007 12:20 pmHeehee, ash hasn't noticed I've been using his phone! Actually ash hasn't noticed a lot of things lately, he's been all about oh my god eight shopping days left and my ankle is twisted before Christmas and his precious Tsubasa-kun and WE BEAT NEW ZEALAND AT THE CRICKET and I don't know how I feel about the Wallabies getting the old All Blacks' coach. Confusing! No wonder he keeps leaving his techy stuff at home lately.
It's so cold here! At the time of the year we should getting sunburned, not burned on the heater! Okay, so maybe I shouldn't have been playing in the bathtub when Yuka-san got home from work but it's not my fault she works weird hours. It's almost a good thing Megumi-chan thinks I'm a stuffed animal, because it also means she thought I'd look adorable in a sweater! Of course, I do, but that's not the point.
I still haven't found Ash's Christmas present for me! :( Has he suddenly gotten really good at hiding them? Is he getting mine from Australia? Somebody tell meeeeeeeeeee.
Oh Huanglongmon, Megumi-chan is coming what's she doing home from drama club so early
“Kaasan? Tousan? Otouto? Anyone home?”
“Oh, Huanglongmon,” Pukamon whispered to himself, “Megumi-chan is coming, what’s she doing home so early? Post! Come on, go, go, go!”
The baby digimon allowed himself to flop face forward onto the keyboard of Ash’s laptop before Megumi entered the room. Sure, it was uncomfortably warm and he was sure he’d get the keys imprinted on his face, but if the alternative was getting discovered by Megumi-chan and getting shipped off to a science lab or the zoo or something, so be it!
Within a minute, Ash’s host sister came in. The shifting weight on the bed indicated she’d sat down by him. “That’s weird, Ash-chan doesn’t usually leave his laptop up... Or the mic out...” Pukamon kept his eyes down until she picked him up. “And he never leaves Puka-pi on the laptop, either.”
Pukamon thanked the Holy Beasts and Huanglongmon that he didn’t need to blink. As it was, her staring at him was a little unnerving.
“I heard someone talking when I came in,” she informed him, “and maybe Ash-chan says he does ventriloquism but he’s a lousy voice actor. I told him to do your voice at school once and it sounded so different from when I hear him talking to you in here.”
She held him up to her face. Oh, man, Pukamon usually tried not to get this close to anyone, except Ash and that was just to annoy him. “You can talk, can’t you?”
To talk or not to talk? That was the question. Was it nobler in the mind to suffer the aches and pangs of loneliness, or to reach out to the one non-Chosen in Japan Ash would probably trust enough to let in on their secret, and by opposing end it?
(Pukamon had enjoyed Ash’s Shakespeare Day preparation. Kenzie always said a little too much.)
Well, Ash could always kill him for this later, but for now... “Funny story about that, actually...”
Megumi squealed and almost dropped him. “Puka-pi, I’m so sorry! It’s just... I was right! So what are you, anyway?”
This was going to take some explaining...
